We need a new Happy Hour Planner for the DFW Area! Platypusman has served us well but has some family priorities to attend too and will need to pass the torch!
If you are interested we've listed the essential requirements and the preferred requirements. You can pm me via wreckwench or email me at kamala@singledivers.com or just post in the thread if you are interested.
Essential Requirements:
1. Be alive and breathing!
2. Be a member of SingleDivers.com
3. Be willing to pick a venue once every 1-2 months so that local members can get together and meet one another or revisit with old friends. (Preferably changing the venue up a bit so that sometimes its in Dallas, Richardson/Plano, Arlington, etc.)
4. Be willing to post the Happy Hour details on the site and promote the event.
5. Be willing to attend the Happy Hour and help meet and greet folks so they know they found the right place!
Other Desirable Requirements (Optional):
1. Be willing to talk to venues about offering a Happy Hour discount for our members. (We can help you with this.)
2. Be willing to send a pm to all the DFW Texas members to let them know we have a Happy Hour or prepare an announcement when our email client is working and lets us do a DFW blast.
3. Find creative ways to share our Happy Hour outside of SD
4. Show enthusiasm about getting to meet others and share their enthusiasm...especially new members.
5. Wear a SingleDivers.com shirt so that people can easily recognize you and find the event more readily!
