Kamala,
I don't have the exact #s for the temps, but I know that when I went there in the past .... in June the temps were ~ 76-78. It warms up over the summer and fall... to temps of ~80+ by November. Weather warms up too, with less wind and warmer days. I believe that Crispin or Henrik could give you much more exact information about the temps. We didn't need AirCon (and it was good as they didn't have it in any of the cottages then) and it was a HUGE treat when they got the desalinator at the resort (had brackish water from the faucets/taps). The only cottages were on the front row on the beach then, too.... :cool2:

Put me down for this trip. I really want to do Wakatobi, maybe not Bali (I have been diving there every month since I arrived in Singapore, and already have 4 more trips planned (long weekends) before the end of the year. I will be in KL next year, so maybe will not have so much opportunity for Bali, we'll see. But definitely on for Wakatobi,

Estimate 2009 Pricing for Wakatobi will be:

Seven (7) Night Stay Accommodation Type:
Garden Bungalow $2,280.00
Beach Bungalow $2,550.00
Select Bungalow $2,850.00
Wakatobi Villa $3,150.00

Air Charter 2009: Bali - Wakatobi - Bali (Billed separately) $390.00

ESTIMATED Bali Pricing: 3 days diving 4 nites, transfers, meals, (1) FREE Massage, etc. approx $500 or less.

Grand Total for Garden: Approx $3170 (includes Bali Wakatobi air charter and Bail pkg)
Grand Total for Beach: Approx $3440 (includes Bali Wakatobi air charter and Bail pkg)

Do you have a preference for July or Nov? Warmer water sounds good to me but many people can ONLY travel in the summer. I do have to make a decision asap.

Thank you all for your help! kamala
