There has been talk of heading South and diving Mammoth Lake on Sunday August 24.

I hear vis is about 10'. :birthday:

It will be my first time diving Mammoth ~ I am told to bring a light. There are lots of fun places to explore on the plane they sunk.

I'm interested. I'm not a morning person, so don't make it too early in the morning.

No time has been set yet. I know one person is not able to arrive before 2 pm. I believe they open at 8 or 9
Come out when you can. Will be looking for you.
Does this mean we will actually DIVE together???? :birthday:

I am planning on bringing 2 HP119 tanks.. multiple dives with nice long SI's in between. :cheerleader:
Will also bring some snacks. Can't dive without snacks. Its a rule that was established in the PNW.

Glad to hear your local TX diving is like PNW. I don't want you going soft down there GG!!

I've been diving every weekend and/or week this month, and my house has been seriously neglected! :birthday: Depending on how much I accomplish at home on Saturday, I will probably be able to make it on Sunday. It's about time we finally get to dive together. :cheerleader:

I am losing my fish chasing skills. Also haven't had to use my "oh crap ~ where did that current come from" skill since moving.

Share the sin, Apple Sin!! (PS dove with Bandito Saturday - We miss you!)

Do you think this group is ready for the SIN? (Next time you dive with Bandito.. you need to give my favorite Captain and Crew a big hug and kiss) I miss you guys and the great PNW diving.
Keep me in the loop for next summers Clear Lake adventure. I will be ready for some PNW R&R!

That's not very nice. When you don't live on the Ocean you dive where you can until you can get to the ocean. So....no commentary necessary from the Cold Ocean Dive Snob! :P

I'm suffering from such diving withdrawal I'd be happy to dive Lake Travis (and I REALLY disliked Lake Travis when I dove there!) ...I may yet plunge into the Aurora reservoir....murky and cold!

I'm with Punkie--be nice to us landlocked types! (...mud puddle cert moneys may be sent to Punkie and me to fund our next dive trips... :P )
