I'd be interested in the DUI weekend at CSSP

Which weekend is DUI at CSSP?

I have checkout dives at CSSP weekend of the 24th I believe. I camped there two weeks ago and the water is cooling off, but the evening was awesome. We had a nice fire and it was comfortable enough for me to sleep in the bed of my truck.

DUI is there November 15th and 16th

I might be at CSSP myself on the weekend of Oct 25th - that would be the open water part of a drysuit class

Has there been an agreement on location and dates?

I would love to get my drysuit out of its bag and into the water again.

The Sea Sports Scuba annual Pumpkin Hunt party is next weekend at the Blue Lagoon. It is always a blast, plus you can win some really good dive-related prizes.

To your left when you come through the gates; we try to set up at the 2nd dock. Steve's equipment trailer looks like a giant dive flag - you can't miss it. I look forward to seeing you Kim!

We just did an OW class at CSSP this past weekend, and the water is already down to 75. We'll be back the weekend of the 25th, and anything can happen weather-wise at the end of October...
I'm growing older but not up,
My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck.
Let those winds of time blow over my head,
I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.

I've never dove Lake Travis so that might be interesting

we'd have to find a weekend where Texas is not playing at home though!

Well, that is this weekend as well as the next. After that, it is November 1st and November 15th.

Is anyone still interested in diving Travis?

I have a brand new dry suit and no dry buddies (their drinking issues aside) so I have no one with which to practice.

How does Nov 8 or 15th sound or better yet, Nov 8th and 15th :teeth:

I know a group of divers will be camping the weekend of Nov 15 & 16... At Lake Travis.
Not sure if that works with your schedule.

I will be diving dry on Tuesday Nov 11.. Lake Travis/Windy Point.
If you can get out of work.. come out and dive with us.

Got the day off. How do I find you?

Look for a large pick up truck (Texas sized) with 3 divers.
I am not sure what the other folks are arriving in. But there should be at least 4 or 5 vehicles.
With divers coming from Dallas, Victoria, Houston and near Austin..

Will leave information at the front/check in.. I am assuming there is a check in place..

Can't post my cell against the rules..and can't pm it to you...
We will be there..at least 6 of us.. so it shouldn't be too hard to find us....

I am diving dry and have bright pink fins and some really big tanks... :cheerleader:

Looking forward to seeing you there...
I am baking Apple Sin (as Dive_Girl calls it)...and I know there will be brownies...
The plan is to do some grilling for lunch.
