Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say hi. I met Kamala at a happy hour event for Water Dogs SCUBA (www.waterdogsscuba.com) in Plano, TX a couple of days ago. I was hanging out with my friend Brian and Gayla who are president and vice-prez of WDS. They have an awesome group of people. Kamala was very cool, as well. So cool that she gave me a free trip for two to Cozumel. Well, okay, actually is was part of a drawing for the Water Dogs and I just got lucky. So, anyway, I'm not certified but I'm going to get all the paperwork done and then fly out have one of Kamala's guys put me through the water stuff. Sounds like fun. Then I'm going with the Dogs to La Paz in August. And who knows what with Kamala's group. I'm excited about this. I actually am lucky enough to live out in Moss Beach, CA, right on the coast, near Half Moon Bay and San Francisco. I'm a half mile from the ocean. Tidepools. Just saw 6 sea lions yesterday hanging out in the water. Beautiful beautiful day. And the ocean just went on forever. And I thought, if it's this interesting above the water, how much more beautiful is it below. Anyway, I travel a lot for work, so I get to hangout with cool friends like Brian and Gayla and make new friends with people like Kamala. Anyway, blah blah blah. Hello. How ya doin', How ya doin'? :cool2:

Hey Sinjin....yep...."WorldDefender" suits you!! But of course you have to tell everyone why it suits you...you know all the cool plans for saving our oceans from all the cruise ship pollution and all that other cool stuff!!! (See when you tell on me...I get to tell back!! LOL!!!) :cool2:

Since you are such a natural in the water...you'll LOVE scuba!!! Do check out our new to scuba forum and feel free to ask ALL the questions you want about the sport or to just get a second...third....forth opinion on something!! Also check out the training section as it has some great stuff for you to consider!!

As for diving with us...OH YES!!! You'll want to get certified soon so that you can do some of the awesome trips we have lined up. :)

In fact....Bonaire in June would be the perfect trip for a beginner as La Paz is not totally a newbie destination. So you should have some dives under your belt and Bonaire would be perfect!! Besides...you'd know ALL these really fun and cool SINGLE people on the trip. I love Gayla and Brian...but can you say...married??? OK so they are really cool married but they are married still the same!!! And just for the record...there is NOTHING wrong with married people....however....diving with other singles is just more cool!!! :-D

Ain't that right gang?????

Hey seriously...since you can apply the trip you won to the LaPaz trip...you should REALLY consider Bonaire. In fact we could do your certifying dives there!! Let me know....

P.S. I get rave reviews with new divers!!! LOL!!! :diver:

Welcome WorldDefender to SD.com, I'm sure you'll love it here as others have mentioned and I totally agree with Divegirl, Kamala is great with new divers... take it from me and Divegirl.. we went on the Cozumel trip in Jan and it was the first diving I had done outside of my certification in Nov 03, it was a blast and I still miss the trip and all the great friends I met on the trip... :cool1: guys!
