You know you're a scuba diver when... you don't blink twice when you are handed a regulator that just came out of a "strangers" mouth and have to put in yours and breathe off it....(in a practice/ training scenario). Yes, I have / had?? a high "ick" factor.

You know you're a scuba diver when....

Your wetsuit reeks cuz you've used it for 8 dives over the last two days, and peed in it at least once, but you still put it on because it's time to gear up for another dive!

Announcing the Top 10 List of 'You Know You're A SCUBA Diver When...'

10) You are more happy wet than dry...

9) You talk to your friends only using hand gestures...

8) You work great under pressure...

7) You watch an underwater action film and critique the way the star has their Octo rigged...

6) Your friends are sick of seeing pictures of backscatter and fish butts...

5) You only 'go down' after consulting tables....

4) Before you blow up your cars tires you check for a current viz sticker...

3) You don't date a member of the opposite sex until after you have seen them in neoprene...

2) When you die you want to be buried on land; for the change of scenery...

...and the number one reason...

When you fill up your BBQ propane tank, you ask the clerk for a 'good' fill... :respect:

you know you are a scuba diver when ... you just can't be bothered brushing your hair between dives (well, probably more for girls). Don't you just love hairbands..

when you own more bathing suits than underwear, your dive gear takes up more space in your room than your clothes, and your tanks fill the space between the tv and stereo.

You can say that you are one of the few to kill off a pair of JetFins. (I just got a brand new pair under the lifetime warranty after splitting my previous pair.) Never thought I'd live to see the day!

You know you're a scuba diver when..all your time off is calculated by where, who, and how many dives will be done.

I love the one about the hand gestures!!! My most frequent dive buddy and I spent a day on land, we were suddenly confused about a plan, and our communication was still hand gestures for direction!!!

You know you're a scuba diver when you start snorting sea water and snot into your hand after a dive, and nobody thinks twice about what you're doing!
