Is Terrel open?

Seems like there has to be someplace open???

Clear Springs in Terrell is open year round. During the colder months they often limit diving to weekends, but the colder months are gone and we're talking about the weekend anyway! Hoorah for weekends!

I plan to be at Terrell Saturday and dive with someone if I have to hop from pavillion to pavillion to find a willing buddy. Hope to see some of you there! :thankyou:

You won't have to look too far. I'll be there. How 'bout any SD'ers meet up at the air shack unless someone else already has a pavilion. Lone Star might get upset If I take over their's, even though I know them all. Who else is in???

I should be able to make it Saturday. I should know tonight. I was there for the first time a few weeks ago and am ready to go back, especailly now that the water is warmer. Per their web site, 80 at the surface, mid 70 at the platform and mid 60's between 25-35'.

I'll be there DM-ing an OW class with Divers Training Center (our pavilion is on the right past Adventure's--the one made of logs). Stop by and say howdy.

Chuck

I really like that shop. I got my regs serviced there and bought some fins. I also took a buddy there for a Discover Scuba class. Great staff and facitlity

Normally not too early; considering I'm still at work tonight... too early - I'm almost 2 hrs away. It'll probably be noon by the time I get there - hoping you will still be there. Leave msg at the air shack of where I can find you. I'll make my way there. :-)

Kamala you would say something like that tonight! The only thing I can hoist at the moment is bottled water and it's already well past 7pm. Darn it anyway!

Hope to see you at a DFW HH sometime soon. :-)

I had a great time with Twinklez and Cmgr Clownfish at CSSP Saturday. It was really nice to finally meet some DS'ers. I'm already looking forward to our nect trip out there. It'll be a while until I can go on a realy trip, but CSSP is just fine with me for now. Let me know when anyone wants to head out that way again. :lmao:

C'mon now, I can do more than one thing in a single day. Saturday I started at 8am with water aerobics, 9:30 yoga, then noon at CSSP. (I won't elaborate on how loudly my body barked at me on Sunday.)

I've no plans to date for July 10th so that may very well be a go for me, and I've been known to make a quick stop at CSSP on the way. Can't help myself!

For the record though, Saturday's water temp was high 70's with a brisk thermocline at 20ft. Vis was not stellar but very nice for CSSP - I'd say a good 15-20ft and a little better in some areas. We stayed shallow easing along the hydrilla for an hour and 10 min in search of fish doing fishy things. It was definately one of the better dives I've made at CSSP. Next time it might be nice to camp over; there's something about the campfire after a great day of diving.

Oh yeah...I had some really great company too! Cmdr Clownfish and Redbeard were fantastic dive buddies!

See you soon!
