Not John Ritter, I remember the commercial but forget the actor's name.
He's Alan Sues. I remember him from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In..... and I'm pretty sure he made a career out of playing Tinkerbell! He does look an awful lot like a cross between John Ritter and Paul Lynde!

Ding ding ding!
Yes you are correct. It is Alan Sues, known for "Big Al Sports" where he played an effeminate sports reporter, and "Uncle Al the Kiddies Pal"; both on Laugh-In. He was also did a memorable episode of The Twilight Zone (The Masks), and was even on The Dating Game, losing to Alejandro Rey (another actor who was well known at the time)
The commercial serves to show that Peter Pan eventually did grow up, and the result was not pretty!

Yes, now I remember. Wasn't "Uncle Al" a takeoff on Uncle ("That oughta' keep the little bastards happy") Don?
