I enjoyed snorkeling Sombrero reef in Key West Florida. It was very nice and the water was only 72 degrees. After a half an hour waves were strong and rolling a 1ft and half over my head.

Drinking salt water is nasty unless you have a soar throat. I called it quits. I could not submerge due to the amount of buoyancy on me. I will post the pics when I return to Denver. Surprisingly I saw no sharks and the only species found at Sombrero Reef are Nurse sharks. I sent and E-mail to George Burgess the Florida shark expert and he told me that reef and bull sharks show up at night time only. I read Sombrero is the 2nd largest reef around. I recomend it 100%. :dancing:

Take care and good diving.
