Now for the reply Mike,I voted for Jay,I don't agree with what he is trying to do & manipulate the Late Night Audience & back step his mistake & his career.His showmanship IMO over the years has been more creative than Conan.And maybe its a age thing,or that he followed Johnny's footsteps.

Here's the long answer (that you didn't ask for I realize). Johnny wanted Dave to be his replacement I believe but NBC picked Leno so Leno started out without Johnny's blessing so to speak.

Dave is the more creative pick and would have done a better job but he has done well at CBS. Leno was doing well for the network at the time when they named Conan as his replacement 5 years hence. This was a slap in the face to Jay. He shouldn't have had to step down.

Now Conan is being treated poorly. I'm sure he will end up at Fox and Jay will have his old show back. This works out well for everyone.

Jimmy Kimmel is my favorite however. I had never thought Conan was very good. Jay is OK in the monologue.

I also like Jimmy Falon. If Conan goes to Fox everything will be as it would have been if NBC had not prematurely named Conan as the Tonight Show host. Conan wouldn't have waited around for the Tonight Show job and would have gone to another network anyway.

I can't vote for either. I find Leno to be a bit of a buffoon at times (although I often watched him). I'm not overly enthused by Conan either. I generally select Nightline but will watch Conan or Dave depending on what guests they have on that night.

I'd vote for the master, Johny Carson, if he were still an option.

Yeah, we need more choices in the poll, like "don't watch either one"!

I haven't liked any of them since Johnny retired. None of the current crop are half as funny as he was! He was just a natural. IMHO, of course!

I wish they didnt change a thing, I really liked Jay coming on early then the News, Conan, Jimmy then nite nite :D also IMO if Jays show failed he should have just stepped aside :lmao:
