:thankyou:

When the grouper expels the skull (4:33) clearly it is missing teeth. When the diver retrieves the skull (6:48) it magically has all of its teeth! lol

Last time I remember an ocean creature used as a murder weapon was in an old 1972 Hawaii Five-O episode.

The title was Cloth of Gold, IIRC.

I managed to catch that episode...it was pretty good even if the skull was missing teeth! :thankyou:

Sea snake would be a better weapon of choice. "the sixth most venomous snake in the world"

Lion fish venom hurts, but unless you were allergic to it, probably not deadly.

Also, how did a salt water fish survive in a heavily chlorinated fresh water pool?? Bit of a plot hole there I would say.

Did they say the holding tank was fresh water? If thought it was a holding tank of salt water.

The lionfish was in a home size aquariam tank by itself on a stand. The victim had lionfish spines poked in and around eye when head was forced into the tank, causing daze and disorientation, not death. No mention of whether fish was in salt or fresh water but because it was alive we must assume it was salt water. I don't remember a fresh water pool in the show.

No worries. It was titled "The Predator In The Pool" and I assumed. Never saw the show myself so there is the disconnect.

Only TV show I am waiting for is Season 4 of the IT Crowd starting in May. :thankyou:

It's kind-of a revisiting of the old Alfred Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes short story, The Adventure of the Lion's Mane, about a lion's mane jellyfish that was used for a murder weapon.

The Aquarium scenes were filmed at Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

The tropical tank is modeled after Blue Corner in Palau, and is very, very cool to see.

Last I'd been there, AofP does not have any hammerheads, but they do have some bonnetheads.

Thanks for posting the link, was neat to watch. :cool1:
