Post if you think you could pass and / or your weaknesses and take a guess at the fitness test job.

My guess is something in the military.

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.
If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

Good thing I'm only out to dive for fun, and not to secure the USA against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Stan, you always amaze me with the stuff you dig up!

As to the rest, I would have passed easily up to about 3 years ago. No longer, after a shoulder injury.

Definitely sounds like military or security force.

Don't know what 20/200 eyesight means. In Britain we talk of 20/20, but I don't know what that means either.

Peter 20/200 refers to someone seeing at 20 feet what others with normal vision see at 200 feet. I don't even know what my vision is without glasses, "somewhere around 20/600 or 20/800" was the last answer I got from my eye doctor when I asked several years ago. I can get my vision corrected to 20/30 or 20/20 which is what really matters. (20/30 would mean I see at 20 feet what someone with normal vision sees at 30 feet... good enough to not get me in an accident driving which is my biggest concern.)

Back in my glory days, when I first joined the service, and was in the best shape of my life, I tried to pass the test for Air Force Combat Controller/Pararescue. Me and one other guy destroyed the run time they had set, approximately 10:30 for 2 miles, and passed the push ups and sit ups, but we both nearly drowned during the swim. Hey, I was a runner and a cyclist. My only swimming came when I crashed while water skiing. LOL. They told both of us that if we would have made the swim, we were shoe ins to start the training. But they couldn't doctor the records that much.

I definately couldn't pass the swim currently while recovering from shoulder surgery. I have to do that many push ups and sit ups within a minute to pass the Air Force PT test. And the run time would only get me an 80% for my age. The slowest I can run and pass our run is 14 minutes. And that's even with the altitude adjustments.

I'm too old now anyway.

I know the answer, but will let Stan perplex you for a while.
