Our dive park, located here on the calm leeward coast of Catalina Island is often one of the few places in SoCal that is diveable during storms. Our weather in SoCal this past month has been unusually turbulent due to frequent windstorms and late season rain. However, last weekend even the dive park was essentially undiveable at least on Sunday:

On top of that, the Lakers lost to the Suns that night. Sheez.

Looks very dive-able.

Just the part about it being entry-able and exit-able looks a bit hairy. LOL

Of course it was also low tide so the lower stairs were exposed as was the rock a few feet from the bottom of the stairs. I wouldn't even think of diving under these conditions since it might mean cracking my housing on the return. About 150-160 divers thumbed the dives that morning.

cracking my housing...

A cracked housing is not only messy but it takes so much longer to recover from after the age of 30. Oh wait, were you talking about equipment? :teeth:

Certainly do not want your encephalon exposed in public.
