1. The TSA and similar have no sense of humor if they decide to be offended, which can lead to you being flagged for extra special searches designed to delay your movements;
2. Chances are (and more likely) these stickers will stay on just as well as a TSA-approved lock does going through Security and then baggage handling.

Ill hold my tongue on TSA, as it would violate the TOS PDQ, but put it this way Im not a fan.

Wow....I didn't think it was possible to have less of a sense of humor than our own airport officials.
Well, like I said:

Very easy - very low-key, airline and TSA personnel were respectful, efficient and obviously used to dealing with this.
Just a thought - get a starter pistol - or, for that matter just a couple of boxes of your favorite ammo and put it in your bag as directed by TSA - I got a "Priority sticker" on my bag, and was able to double lock the gun case inside a locked suitcase. No sign of tampering, my bag got where I was going - and were among the first off.
Obviously useful only for domestic US travel.
