Our Unsung Heroes....GIVE THEM A HAND!!!

Now we are back online please give a great big THANK YOU to our unsung heroes for tirelessly working to identify, verify, rectify, fix and implement our new and improved website! We have the most talented team of IT Volunteers ever assembled spanning 3 countries who have worked around the clock tirelessly to get our maintenance done, site moved and software upgraded. They really have worked around the clock and hail from Canada, the US and Bermuda! Without each of these awesome volunteers we could not serve our members as well as we do. Please join me in thanking George aka Tolly, Scott aka Cmdr. Clownfish, Simon aka Shadragon, Bob aka Fordan, and Brad aka dive_sail_etc for the amazing support they provide behind the scenes to keep our site going in general and IN PARTICULAR THE PAST WEEK!

These guys are the best!! Please join me in them for an OUTSTANDING JOB!!! kamala

Hey I know many of you wanted to post in this thread and now you can! Let the guys know what a great job they've done! THEY REALLY HAVE!!

Our core group of volunteers - Angels, Charlies, Trip Coordinators, Moderators, Admins and IT gurus, are absolutely AWESOME!!!

But the IT guys went above & beyond this time.... I know they spent a lot of personal time (and probably some non-personal time!) working on getting the new site prepared to go live on the new server.

Tammy you are right about SD having the MOST AMAZING group of volunteers! And spot on regarding how our cyberelves went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND...especially since we did not pick the timing...it picked us! And YES each of them worked tirelessly around the clock and several took time off work to get us back up and running!

I personally can not thank them enough and just so you know...THEY ARE STILL working tirelessly behind the scenes hardening the site, getting our email ready to transfer to the new server we are now on, setting up a testing site so they can test things without risking the main site...and MORE!!!

They keep coming up with more ideas faster than I can absorb what all of it means!

Again...please join me in giving these GUYS A HUGE FOR SAVING THE DAY AND MAKING THE SITE AS WE KNOW IT!!! -kamala

YES they are still working hard behind the scenes to clean up things and bring even more new features to the site or the forums!
