I"m signed up so the bures are available! First week is at Beqa Lagoon Resort (air conditioned); Depart LAX April 14 arrive NAN April 16th.
Second week take island hopper to Kadavu Island to dive Great Astrolabe Reef. Accomodations at "Eco Adventure" (no a/c) Matava Resort where the IMAX movie "Coral Reef Adventure" was filmed.
Return to LAX April 30.
I'm leaving for liveaboard Galapagos in 2 days and will have limited internet access the next 2 weeks.

What are "bures"?
Lynn, bure is the Fiji word for a wood-and-straw hut, or a cabin. There can be a wide range of composition materials, but most resort bures have walls/roofs that you would be comfortable with.

I will be staying at the Beqa Lagoon Resort coming up in March! I leave on 3/10 and return on 3/19. So I'll be able to tell you all about those beautiful bures when I get back

I CAN'T WAIT for this trip. 28 days and counting down.
