I have a possible opportunity to travel to Barbados in July. This is all contingent on me applying for a summer conference and being granted a space in the conference (which would be great in itself, since the airfare would be paid by the conference sponsors). If I do it and am accepted, I'd like to take either a few days before or a few days after and do some diving.

Has anyone gone diving in Barbados? What did you think of the diving? Any good dive operators?
Thanks!

Great diving in Barbados!! Check out my video below. Mostly all drift diving, healthy reefs and lots of turtle encounters. I can recommend some dive ops and hotels / guest houses.

SD is working very hard to go in June...I know that won't work with your schedule but we'll be using one of two vendors...either of which will do a great job both for our group and for an individual.

I hope to have the final details for June worked out asap so you can learn a great deal more then.

Do you want to have SD set it up for you and help you find a buddy or do you just want to go on your own if you go?

Let us know! Sylvia aka cat fish has been behind the scenes busy as a bee with our travel group!

It isn't a done deal by any means, and while I'd love to get this new information, the SD trip may be my best option. I'll be continuing to see what develops. Thanks Stan for the video link!
