We are having a great trip so far! Its been a bit rainy which has only delayed our cookout but has not impacted our diving. We have found lots of teeth, whale bones, the inner ear bone of whales, several REALLY nice MEG TEETH, ancient Indian pottery, some colonial era flow blue china pieces, and THREE (3) amazing Indian arrow heads and/or spear points and/or cutting tools. WOW!!! Each is entirely different and the two found by DAN aka trvlr99 are amazing. He found them together in the same area on the same dive on the FIRST dive we did. I found one yesterday.

Hoping for more spectacular finds today!!!

Just a quick update on our treasure finds yesterday...

Valerie found a 40 million year old tooth almost 4 inches in PERFECT CONDITION!!! It was beautiful! She also found a colonial clay pipe bowl and loads of other fossils including teeth, bones, pottery, and more.

Ed found his first spear point or arrow head along with some HUGE pieces of Ancient Indian pottery PLUS a prehistoric piece of "beaver". Valerie quipped that Ed finally found some "beavar" in SC!!!

Heidi found several REALLY nice large teeth as well as an entire collection of whale bones, including several with shark bites out of them! She found a petrified snail, turtle shell and other great finds almost too numerous to mention.

Clint found a petrified snail and a number of teeth and other artifacts as well.

Dan still holds the record for the 2 Indian spear points found the first day and supplemented his stash with several more nice teeth.

I found whale bones, petrified wood, turtle shell, small pieces of Indian pottery and a several really nice teeth along with a lot of teeth for Heidi's school project she will do for her kids next school year.

We also had our cookout after our dives yesterday. We grilled sesame ginger chicken and jerk fish for dinner along with spinach salad and potato salad and had grapes and watermelon and key lime (yogurt) for dessert! I know I know... it should have been the real deal but most of this group are working on eating healthier and losing a few pounds so I was just doing my part!

The tides will let us leave an hour later today so I can get a bit of work in as well. Sadly today will be our last day of diving...this trip has just flown by and I so wish we could do another one this year...its really fun and great exercise too! While normal diving does not burn very many calories...crawling along the river bottom using a pick to pull you along DOES!!! And the reward is not only finding great treasures but also getting into great shape too!

Thanks to everyone for your frags!! I'm home and headed for some sleep but had to say a great time and I'd love to do the Cooper again. My box is on my way to me filled with all the goodies for the kiddos!!!
