Have you been here? What was your experience? Would you go again? Should we go in 2012 or 2013?

Dived with you in Kadavu......would only go back to that island if we stayed on the Astrolabe Reef side of the island next time. Reports I've read on Beqa Lagoon sound like better dive sites, with much the same cultural interaction we had on Kadavu.
I would have to get special dispensation in order to go in February. But, I'm willing to give that a try, as long as it's less rainy/better vis than Tina's trip was in March, and if there is more than 2 dives per day offered. (bad shore dives offered don't count!) That's just a really long way to travel for 2 dives per day.

Diving Season
The dive season is all year round. April to October is the main season for diving in Fiji in terms of diver numbers, although the visibility tends to peak between the months of July and December when the water is cooler (sometimes as cool as 22°C). November to April are in fact Fiji's summertime and when the seas are at their warmest - around 30°C. This is also rainy season and carries a greater risk of cyclones.
