Okay, since we are on these games of song lines, movie lines, etc, I thought I would start my own little game. Answer the question below, then create your own music trivia question. Here is mine.

Name the 80's rock band that was formed by members of Yes, ELP, and Roxy Music ...

Well in that case name all the keyboard players for the Grateful Dead. Anybody that was ever an official member of the band that played the keyboards.

Well since nobody has made an attempt at this I'll just list them off and ask a different question.

The answer is Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, Tom Constanten, Keith Godchaux, Brent Mydland, Bruce Hornsby, and Vince Welnick

Lowell George & Roy Estrada played with what band before forming Little Feat?

Yep, China got me on those as well, but I can also throw some zingers out there. Let's see ...

1): What was the name of the 80's band which featured Steve Howe of Yes and Steve Hackett of Genesis?

2): Who have been the regular lead singers for Black Sabbath besides Ozzy Osbourne? There are two.

3): What was the name of 70's band which was comprised of all the members of Alice Cooper's backup band?

4): Who replaced Ian Gillian as lead singer for Deep Purple in 70's?

and finally

5): What band did Neal Schon of Journey play in when he was 16?

Somebody wake me up when there's a Buffett related question. Other than that, I am musical moron. OK, maybe I am just a moron. Whatever.

By the way, if you are curious about any of Buffett lyrics, I have a searchable database of all his lyrics...

Okay, I got one. Name the 1978 movie which Buffett appeared in. He sang "Livingston Saturday Night" which was part of the soundtrack for that film.

Ok, here's a fun question....

Janis Joplin wrote "Oh lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz. My friends all have Porsches, I must make amends".

What car did Janis Joplin drive?
