Okay, it's official. Divers.... start marking your calendars.
Inviting all SoCal divers to join us in San Diego at Cozymels in UTC / La Jolla on Thursday, October 14th at about 6pm for a fun happy hour to mingle, meet and get to know each other.

It's about time to get together, meet, greet and have some fun. Did I mention drinks?? I am trying to organize something in the San Diego area in the next few weeks, but I need some feedback. If you Orange Co and LA co folks would like to join us, (and we would love you to), I will try to organize it in North County San Diego (Solana Beach, Carlsbad etc), so it will be a bit more convenient for you. However, if it is going to be a mainly San Diego party, I will just choose a central San Diego location. Planning for a Wed or Thur Happy hour. Can I get any feedback from the non-San Diegan, Southern Californians??? Who thinks they will be able to make it??

Okaaay. I have not had any response from our more Northern neighbors. If I do not hear anything in the next few days, I will assume this will be mainly San Diego folks and start arranging for a centralized location. Ana, Jen etc......... waiting to hear from you!!!

Very cool. When is Zendiver heading this way? Any definite dates?

Co-chair, coach-air, okay.

Mon/Tues/Wed nights are out for me, but Thursday the 7th or 14 would work for me. (I'm taking a Divemaster class this month, and have class Thursday the 21st and 28th.). If you want to look at a Friday or Saturday night, let me know and I'll fill you in on the rest of my availability.

Wow, we keep getting no response on this one... are there so few of us here in San Diego, a city with one of the most active dive communities? Or just none interested in coming out to meet each other? C'mon divers, come out to play!

I'm sending Rosa a list of members you all can invite directly to join you! I also sent her an ad she can post in the community section of your local papers in the singles section. It will tell people that SingleDivers.com does happy hours and events and give them info on contacting us. I'll need a local contact person...either you or Rosa or both! Let me know! -ww

OK, due to the lack of response, Mike and I are considering cancelling this event. Kind of sad when you look at the support in other parts of the country. Anybody else going to jump in and make this happen??
