Well... the topic title really sums it all up.

I've not received any calls for aid from Erica or the Wench, which means either my services have not been required thus far... or, more likely, they were going to ask for my help but then thought better of it.

Unfortunately I am the pivotal weak link of in a bunch of weak links. There a few things I need to do behind the scenes before another one can go but by my boss and, more Importantly my trip to Barbados, are taking priority.

Having said that, it's all Kamala's fault. HAH

Nothing happens with the newsletter unless it's done by volunteers, including: coming up with ideas, general organization of assignments, the writing of the articles, the design & publishing chore, and getting it out to the public. If one of the pivotal volunteers gets caught up in their day-to-day responsibilities, the whole thing falls apart.

The same few volunteers who have other SD.com responsibilities are the ones who offered to contribute to the newsletter, but not one of us has the authority to just 'get it done'. Kamala is not around enough to direct the newsletter process or approve the issue for publication, so I think it's going to be a more occasional thing than originally intended.

Of course, if any of the general membership wants to get more involved in the newsletter, they are welcome to volunteer in this thread! :teeth:

If I may speak for my 'Spawn'. She's been busy the past couple of weeks, moving from Baltimore to Dallas, then closing on a house, and now overseeing the remodeling of same for the next ??? weeks. Hell, she's even put me to work!!!
