I'll be there! Tray, I'll call you if I get lost trying to find THE railway bridge! :lmao: I'll bring my chair & a cooler for drinks & sides, and a change of clothes for later They're predicting low 90's, so I'll get in the water too. Are you arranging for the canoes for us?
Jason has my phone number already, but I hope he'll go ahead and ride up with me & do the float trip too.

The day was sunny & warm, with a light breeze and the 10 mile canoe trip was great. I found muscles in my shoulders and arms that I forgot I had, but enjoyed it immensely. With the kids in the group wanting to stop & swim so often, we were slow getting through the float, so Scott & Tonja picked Carolyn & me up at the spot we pulled the boats out, and shuttled us back to Tray's house so we could fire up the grill & get the food going while all the others got shuttled. Fortunately, Jason only sat outside Tray's house about 15 minutes before we got back there. The BBQ started a bit later than expected, but there was tons of great food, laughter, and joking around. Once someone looked at their watch, it was nearly 10pm and the Jazz Fest in the park was nearly over. so we decided to just hand out at Tray's place. After Jason headed back to Kansas City, Tonya suggested we go out for some awesome frozen yogurt. It was great catching up with everybody, and hope we can get together again soon....

Jen, Tray and I will get together with some non-SD friends for a soccer game at the new stadium on 7/30. If anyone wants to come, post in that thread so I know to pick up a ticket for you!

A huge thanks to Tray for hosting the event! The food and company were both excellent. It was great meeting Jason and Carolyn and seeing you all again.
