SD has projected into the universe that which we need and the universe (along with some very special cyberelves) have projected back.

The stars and moons will align between now and the end of the year and we will have a new CMS. A CM WHAT???? A new Content Management System commonly known as CMS and basically what our homepage used to look like.

It will allow us to monitor hot topics in the forums and show them on the home page. It will allow you to easily sign up for RSS feeds of say SD trips or other cool topics on our site! You can learn more about what SD does and how it works? You can easily log into the forums from the CMS.

It can have a 2 column or 3 column layout. It can have a rotating slideshow of previous trips! It can link to our calendar of trips? What calendar of trips you ask? The one we can NOW more easily create!

It can even do things we've never tried before. We could watch the weather in the places we are going diving or show case our trips in new ways or many other things we've not attempted before.

So this is where you all come in. While we can't guarantee that we can do everything suggested...we hope to use your ideas to create an AWESOME NEW HOMEPAGE FOR SINGLEDIVERS.COM!!!

#2- Followed by trips posted in a calender format, with prices and click here to go to trip detail page
#3- Join membership options-prices -givebacks
#4- all other links

Dispersed on banner or along sides boarders or bottom of page, changing photos of past trips, upcoming hotel venues, diving members/critters--
Make new page more active and lively, not static like present home page. YOU only have a few seconds to capture new clients

1. When I come to SD.com for the first time I expect to see _Our Logo & Rules/Regulations , Calender w/links of upcomingTrips or Shows & or a List of Trips of where SD has been for that yr. , How to Join w /Prices for membership levels
. When I come to SD as a repeat members I expect to see Keep Forums, sign in,Notice of any messages for myself, keep the safe format of members cannot send Premier members mail
3. When I come to SD for the first time I would like to see A help link to a Charlie/Angel
4. When I come to SD as a repeat member I would like to see _A Master Trip WISH LIST Board , a WAY OF getting a list of members in ones area AREA by ZIP Code for purposes of a HH. And as SD would grow..you could use this as a monitor for Angels & Charlies to manage by areas or zone...
Finally,I would think after a certain period of time certain threads of subjects could or should be deleted to save space.

Thank you! Great input so far! Also feel free to elaborate on the KIND of info and how it should be formatted. For example if we talk about what SD Is and isn't...our value if you will...should that be a TAB along the top or on the side? Should it be under a link such as Click HERE to learn who we are? sort of thing.

The more detail the better...but this is a great start!
