The Wench and I were talking and she asked me to act as a SD.com reference/referral to prospective members. I agreed then thought about the volume of people that might call. This could be overwhelming for one person, so would anyone else like to also act as a SD.com reference/referral? It would help greatly with the recruitment of new members and help fill trips.

Dave, you might get more people to volunteer if you'll explain exactly what it entails.

My reference......

I like the fact that SingleDivers.com isn't like an on-line dating site. It puts diving first. I felt more at ease about signing on as a member. I was surprised by how friendly and welcoming the SD members are. This is a great site for everyone whether you're just getting started or you're an experienced diver. The variety of forums offer great information. It's fun to jump into one of the threads and get to know others. I feel like I've made some great connections and I am looking forward to diving with the group soon.

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Posted Image Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

SD referrals would answer questions that people have about the group, the trips, and the people who are already members. Basically we are a sanity check for someone interested in joining in on a SD trip someplace, SD event, or even just the website.

WW said she'd like to have an email address for us and a tel# where we could be reached along with the best time to reach us so that people could check with us. If we prefer to call them that is ok too...we just need to tell WW how we feel most comfortable handling it.

I'm willing to help out as well....but since I haven't made it to any SD trips or events yet, I could only speak to the website.

Let me know if you'd like my help nonetheless.

Even if you have not made a trip yet you can speak to the site...the quality of people you have met online thus far and even how you personally feel about making a trip with us. All is valuable insight to someone new thinking about joining us! Thanks to all...you are great! -ww

WW

:welcome: :welcome: :lmao:

Thanks for all your hard work in getting all the trips together for us, answering all our questions so promptly, which is probably no small feat, and pretty much doing the impossible by keeping everyone happy. :D

I'd be happy to act as a reference.

I'll be even happier when I'm diving with everyone :twist:
