I have an option on a killer deal to go to Nassau next Monday through Friday (26-30 Sept) and wanted to know if I do go what dive conditions are right now.

Viz? Temps in water?

Any recommendations as to where to go topside in Nassau?

Maybe you can ask Dantheengineer. Haven't seen him on the board here for a while??He doesn't live that far from Stewarts Cove..5 yrs ago I stayed on Paridise Island.

WELL WATER TEMP FROM WPB TO kEY WEST HAS BEEN INCREASING 82'-->84'. VIS HAS BEEN VARIABLE 50--70'..

Don't know about Bahamas, but last week in Provo, water temp was 84 and viz improved from 40 to 60 during the week, it's slowly getting better since 'Irene'. Have fun on your trip!!!
