I was planning on going to Tavernier tomorrow morning, but my buddy canceled on me at the last minute. Is anyone going to be there by any chance????

It's about a 2 hour drive for me, so I was wondering if it would be a good idea for me to go by myself...

I wish I could help out, but I am not in Miami until late Wednesday night. I'm doing some diving off a buddy's boat on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning. We're doing the Columbus Day Regatta on Saturday afternoon.

Damn I hate it when that happens. Good luck on the buddy search.

That is a long way to go. Keep an eye on the thread tonight. Maybe somebody will step up. I wish I could, but Huntsville to the Keys...I could start driving now and I wouldn't make it.

I have met her. With all due respect, the woman is not pretty, she's gorgeous! The photo doesn't do her justice. More important, she's also very sweet, very interesting, fun to be around and a diver. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the Keys this morning.

I ended up not going. I heard conditions weren't that great anyway.

It's easy to do when you're using a DPV at 15 feet of water with 2 feet of visibility. You have the tentacles wrapped before you know they are there. Not to worry, I'm fine. I took two Benadryl tablets as soon as I got to my car, then applied Benadryl gel topically. I was back out this morning diving with Daniel. No worries, darlin'.
