Performance records for Jan 2012

The new year means new records for US Airways! Travelers flying with US during the first month of 2012 were treated to our best-ever January operational performance in on-time arrivals and baggage service. This great start continues our streak of best-ever performances, which we achieved for the month of December, the 2011 holidays and the fourth quarter as a whole.

We keep making it our top priority to get your clients to their destinations on time, with their bags and without any hassles…and it shows with performance you can count on.


Introducing PreferredAccess

Soon your Dividend Miles Preferred clients will enjoy priority boarding in a dedicated lane, so no matter when they get to the gate, they'll be at the head of the line. This benefit is just one more perk of being Preferred and it's part of what we're now calling 'PreferredAccess.' Priority check-in and priority security – benefits already enjoyed by Preferred members – are also part of PreferredAccess.

We've already begun dual-lane boarding in Phoenix and we're expanding it to our top airports this spring and 60 airports by this summer.


New US Airways Club in Raleigh-Durham is open

The brand-new US Airways Club in RDU is now open for our customers. The modern lounge represents the next generation of US Airways Club design. The 65-seat club is on the mezzanine level overlooking RDU’s Terminal 2 and features custom-designed lounge seating, an expansive bar area and plenty of space for visitors to work or relax before their flight. US Airways is proud to once again provide its RDU customers with this impressive US Airways Club.


Serving more cities from Washington Reagan Airport (DCA)

In January we announced new service from DCA. We're adding 11 new cities and more flights to three existing cities beginning March 25, 2012.

We're also adding new nonstop service from Cincinnati and Des Moines to DCA beginning May 2, 2012. Business, government and leisure travelers in these communities will soon have easy access to the capital and connections to other destinations throughout the East Coast.

And, we're planning more new routes and expansion later this year including more gates and a second, conveniently located US Airways Club at DCA.
