The real point of this post is to say that women are REALLY into diving and that is great! It is also to say that they are not usually looking for a relationship...they just want to make friends and GO DIVING!!! In fact we have made trips so comfortable for women they flock to our trips. That being said...balance is a beautiful thing and we welcome smart savvy men who 'get it'!
Focus on the DIVING and the rest just may take care of itself! But why not increase your odds regardless! I'm just saying...

I thought when we discussed this in the past, the moral of the story is that compared to women when buying dive trips, men are cheap!
We did have more men than women on the Cozy trip last week. And I'm guessing next year's North Carolina trip will be like that too!

Well *SOME* men have come to the conclusion that they are cheap when buying dive trips and that explains why our trips to Egypt and other more exotic places have more women on them.
And yes the Cozy trip we just completed today had more men...the Cozy, Cenotes and Whaleshark trip we have starting today and going on for the next week has 16 women and 5 guys...

I may be giving my age away, but back in the late 60’s/early 70’s, I remember a mail order company called New England Divers. One of their catalogs for wetsuits had inscribed on its cover “Diving: It’s a Man’s World.” Inside were pics of rugged-looking men wearing wetsuits with outcropped illustrations of tropical islands with bikini-clad women standing on the beach. The times they are a’changin. I take that back, they’ve changed and then some.

I don't know georoc, our boat June 9 and 10 was nearly half female. And so far, it looks like the NC trip has more female takers than male.
But it is true that here in Wreck Diving heaven, I am often the only female on the boat, or perhaps one of two. So hard to be me
