Recently returned from a 3 1/2 month SOLO Pacific Island hop diving trip.Feb into June 2012. Islands I visited and or dove>> Hawaii (big Island),Majuro,,Kwajalein,,Ebeye,,Kosrae,,Pohnpei and Ant Atol,,TRUK,,Yap,,Palau,,Peleliu,,Guam,,Tinian,,Saipan,,Philippines...Would be happy to answer any questions you may have on these places. Much of the time I traveled, lodged, camped with low cost in mind,,,did NO live aboards. It was a fantastic trip ! There were problems and hickupps,as I did all my arrangements on my own,,almost all without time limits, or dates to follow. I am looking forward to possibly another Pacific trip next year, with one goal as the underwater monuments of YANAGUNI,,off southern tip of Okinawa chain. Also I want to go back to Philippines.

I am so envious. Talk about living the dream. Details?
No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

Congratulations on a great trip, especially diving Kwajalein. When we went through there in April 2011 [on the way to Chuuk], you had to have orders/permission to get off/on the plane. I wouldn't mind returning to dive Kosrae & Pohnpei.
Time on earth is precious, time underwater even more so. Live life one day at a time. Dive your @$$ off!!!

Actually I was unable to scuba at Kwaj,,,Went over Ebey Island next to Kwaj,,,diving operation there had been CLOSED for 2 years, and only diver I met with a compressor to fill tanks, had that un-opperational!! Got stuck there 1 week, bad living conditions there. I did do some really good snorkeling tho! If you can get connections with someone on Kjajalein to sponsor you,,you would be in for some excellant diving.Congratulations on a great trip, especially diving Kwajalein. When we went through there in April 2011 [on the way to Chuuk], you had to have orders/permission to get off/on the plane. I wouldn't mind returning to dive Kosrae & Pohnpei.
