EARTH CALLING SINGLEIDVERS.COM ..... COME IN PLEASE!!!

How many times have the heavens opened up and people asked us to properly get on facebook???? The conversations have gone something like this...


EARTH: You must get on facebook so as to not miss out!

SD: We have a 'group' doesn't that count?

EARTH: Nope...you need a page so people can "LIKE" you and "SHARE" things from your page.

SD: Ok to me they seem the same but Ok ok ....we now have a Page and a Group! Now hopefully our members will tell us what they want to see in each and/or how to best use each.

EARTH: Ask and ye shall receive!

SD: Ok so I guess now is the part where I'm supposed to ask you to "LIKE US" on facebook HERE and "SHARE" any of our pictures etc on your timeline or in any groups you belong too!



SD: Oh yea...pls don't forget to post on our page about how to make our page better and what you want to see on it AS WELL AS IN THIS POST!

I'm #15!

Not sure what value the Group still has going forward in its current context. Typically I've seen the Group be shut down after a Page is created for an organization following a period of promotion of the new Page and encouraging the membership to migrate over. Generally, the Page is used as the primary marketing channel on the social media platform. The Group format would probably be more relevant going forward for individual trips (i.e. SingleDivers.com - San Sal - 2012) whereby membership can be restricted to individuals that went on that trip.
