Is there a grocery near the resort? I dearly love to grocery shop in other countries and look forward to filling my fridge with snacks and meal items to save some bucks on meals.
My late BF and I did two weeks in French Polynesia on three different islands and filled up our fridge at all three with food to offset the meal plan.

Yes there is one a short taxi or a bit longer walk . Many meals are big so they use it for eating half now and half later. Our plan includes breakfast and lunch and 2 dinners so you won't need to stock up too heavily.

taxis into Rouseau are only $1US or $2US during the day, I don't remember exactly. The price is more like $5-10US at night. They are easy to find also.
