In the next few weeks we should have the backlog of 2020 trips inputs ready for hika buildout and forums buildout. We have been slowly creating a process for this build out which is already a separate discussion and will be revisited again soon for add'l iterations based upon the lessons learned from each recent buildout of 2020 trips ie. Red Sea, T&C, etc.
To ensure that the current HIKA build out process is maintained and respected while simultaneously giving us the ability to better handle hika buildouts during peak times, backlogs, and normal time off parameters...we will cross train another team member (Butch) as a back up to our primary Hika team leader (Pam) and we request the following:
- Pam will send the list of changes and enhancements to Scott's processes that she and Scott have crafted and evolved since Pam took over HIka, so that Butch can follow them.
- Butch will follow all parameters outlined in Pam's list and help to suggest and work with Pam on any other enhancements along the way if needed or useful.
- Butch will tackle a new trip (Raja) as a learning tool which will prevent disruption to production trips and enable him to at the same time help with the upcoming trip buildout backlog as well as train to be the back up for this Pam should she need it.
- Kamala will work further and harder to get the HIKA inputs to the team faster, cleaner and in a more complete and consistent format to facilitate the HIKA creation process.
- Kamala will use Pam's inputs about timing, etc to further refine the inputs and timing of those inputs to aid in the set up HIKA. Once these are completed they will be documented as well.
