What time are the ferrys coming and going?
Ferry Schedules:
The fast ferry operates twice a day 9am and 2pm from sorong and waisai respectively.Meaning there is a 9am and 2pm TO Waisai daily and and 9am and 2pm to Sarong daily.

Very excited about the trip! I am getting concerned about the situation with the Coronavirus. Anyone else? Kamala, has there been any thoughts about what, if anything would determine either cancellation or possibly change of itinerary?

I think the virus will have a vaccine soon. I have asked the resort and there are no cases reported yet anywhere near. All we can do is keep you posted. If you have trip ins you can check to see if they will cover it. If you do not have trip ins you can consider getting it but make sure they would cover it. But its a catch 22. In the case of a storm...once it has a name they no longer cover it. Not sure if that applies to virus's or not. I have paid the resort in full for everyone going and finalizing what everyone owes for the flights so we are no longer able to cancel anyone from the trip ourselves without you filing on your trip insurance.

What I have learned is that trip insurance will not cover this epidemic unless you have cancel for any reason (CFRAR). If you put a claim under the cancel for any reason policy, you get reimbursed 70-75% of the trip cost. I do have insurance and am thinking of upping it to CFAR. It costs almost double and can only be added to an already existing policy within 2 weeks of purchase.

I have trip insurance through Allianz Global Assistance. I was told that if the airlines cancel flights to Bali, then it would be covered. Im flying from DFW to Bali via Qatar. So, if Qatar cancels the flight, Im covered.
If I panic and cancel then, no it wont be covered.
