My friend, William (FSUSCUBAPRO) is putting a dive plan together for either Saturday or Sunday for next week: Jan 15 or 16. Anyone else interested?

OK, lets make a deal. If you stop telling me how to dive, I'll stop going down to the bus station at 2am to slap d***s out of your mouth.

if you have not picked out a dive boat look into tanks-o-lot in clearwater
they are a very relaxed operator and good people. they have two boats
and usually carry about 10 divers max. if you get a chance there's a very
large area of the concrete remains from the old clearwater beach bridge, it's got tons of fish and perhaps a jewfish or two. the gulf is pretty cold by local standards this time of year (mid 60's), i'd say no less that a 5ml, have fun. I'm thinking
of the keys or i would join you....

Thanks for the tip! I'll pass this info along to William. He's organizing the dive. I'm looking forward to it, of course! Hopefully my own gear will be ready for this one.

HandyGeek,

Sure you want to dive with a Nole? I am assuming by the handle that FSUSCUBAPRO is from the Dark Side. Be afraid, be very afraid.

If I was still living in Tampa, I would be loading my gear bag as we speak. Unfortunately, being in North Alabama at the moment, I am out of pocket. Have a great time. Let me know how it goes though. I will be down there seeing family in the spring and if you like the dive operator, I will keep that in mind.

Count me in for this weekend; I'll give them a call this morning and sign up. Thanks for organizing everything!

And as a Hoosier myself, Jeff, I've got your back if the rival Crackers get all riled up. :wakawaka:

It figures a misguided, mislead Gator that now lives in Crimson Tide country. The Gators finally won a game in the name of Zook, and now the Gators feel they are on top of the world. Jeff you might want to watch this Gator... if you ever dive with a gator remember GATORS usually come with a host of problems and issues. The last Gator I dove with felt the Martini effect at the surface losing gear, forgot to tighten tank strap, and at the end of the dive he had the nerver to ask how did he do... Just like a Gator always "lost" and look to other for help. (Look at this year they nneded three teams to win so the could get a bowl bid) LOL
