I'm brand new to this site and was asked to introduce myself, so that's what I'm doing. I've been a diver since 1999, but it has been over 10 years since I've been on any diving trips. I just took a refresher course and am anxious to get started diving. I do not currently have a dive buddy, so I need one who likes to travel.

Hello Kelly, and welcome to SingleDivers.  I found this group 13 years ago, when looking for options to travel and not have to pay the single occupancy price.  Since then, I have been on 25 trips, and loved them all.  Kamala and her helpers do a wonderful job at pairing divers up with comparable roommates, as well as comparable dive buddies.  I am glad you found the group, and hope you look around the site and maybe find a trip that interests you.  I have met a lot of great people here.  Ed

  Kelly and    to the awesome world of Singledivers.com.  It is the best place for diving when you are buddyless.   Kamala and crew put on trips to wonderous destinations that accommodate divers of all levels of experience.  They are going to Cozumel, Dominica and Rotan this year and all are fabulous places to get your fins wet and get back into diving.  A lot of effort is put into matching dive buddy's and roomies.  Please checkout our our trips and find one that absolutely suits you.  Like the screen name......  Hope to see you on a trip soon,

Hello Kelly, we are stoked you decided to join in the fun we have as a group! While your Premier subscription does include member profile access along with search options that include state and other criteria, we veteran club members all seem to agree the best way to find new dive and travel companions is to meet them in person while actually diving with them on club trips! This method provides the enviable option of actually getting acquainted while pursuing the activity everyone is there to enjoy.

 

Don't limit yourself to specific geographic criteria with your search; many of our members' favorite dive buddies and travel companions live far apart but coordinate which trips both are interested in, then joining together and requesting to be roomed together and assigned as buddies. Sidebar trips are naturally an option, and there is a wealth of experience and information here for destinations on or off the club rotation.

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm glad you like my screen name. It was inspired by a YouTuber I like whose channel/company is I Dream In Soap. Several Carribean trips have caught my eye for the near future and diving the Red Sea is on my bucket list. I agree about meeting people in person. Would love to find a happy hour in my area.

The BEST way to meet new friends and buddies is to JUMP RIGHT IN...but doing so in a SAFE AND SANE WAY!!! That is EXACTLY what our trips do for you. There is no such thing as being too safe these days so EVERY element of our trips and our experience is LASER FOCUSED ON SAFETY AND OF COURSE FUN!!! 

 

• We use screen names to protect your identity.
• We NEVER reveal your real names (other than your first name) to anyone.
• We manage email lists for local events (this keeps someone from taking your information and using it to start private dive groups, or sell you things etc.  In other words ONLY SD.com STAFF EVER SEE OR USE YOUR CONTACT INFO.
• We protect all our members but especially our women in EVERY aspect of our operation.
