okay...so i've been spying on everyone else's conversations and finally let all the admin's messages to post an introduction get to me. they're a persistant bunch, but i'm enjoying myself so far. sorry about not having a pic yet, can't find one that i like.

based in dallas and classify myself as a pretty inexperienced diver, but hoping to change that. got my padi ow last spring and am working on the aow now. wreck wench got me super excited about the north carolina trips and cemented the deal when she told me that water was warm. pretty much interested in anything, so if anyone has crazy stories, i'll definately be the one on the boat listening.

on the surface, my main hobby is krav maga. been doing it since the beginning of february and am testing for my yellow belt next week. wish me luck! love to eat...crawfish and watermelon in particular. my friends like to say i have a hollow leg, but i just like to think i'm a growing girl (horizontally since i'm not getting any taller).

and speaking of friends, i'm really excited about sd. i've been waiting for my dive friends to make good on their promises to go with me but they're always too busy. so winging it alone, and can't wait to meet everyone.

NOTE: This thread has taken on so many lives that we can't possibly break them all out. We've captured but a few of the topics contained within...enjoy the read!!!

:-D mischievous...WOOHOO, another Texas cutie and a tough one too. Hey mischievous, I have my 2nd degree brown....maybe one day we can get together and spar! You will find A LOT of other Dallas people on this board and we are getting together in May for a SD trip to Athens for the weekend. I am sure that Dejah will let you know more of the details when she comes on and personally greets you.

Glad you stopped by and hope that you will call this home. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are ready and willing to help in anyway, all you have to is ask.

Don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.

Again, welcome to our little place on the net where having fun is what it is all about.

Welcome to the board! I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here - I've found these people to be absolutely among the nicest you'd ever hope to meet.

Welcome Mischevious. As a fellow Dallasite and troublemaker, you will fit right in. Along with the Athens trip, there is a crawfish boil that a local non-denominational dive group here is hosting on April 18th. Many or all of the SD.com local folks will be going, and you should ask Kamala (we call her wreck wench, among other things) about it.
Swim through all the forum sites, and add your 3000 psi worth often.
Oh, and beware of Marvel. She will get you in trouble. But the rest of the gang will stand up for you and cheer as you kick the bad guys a**
