I think the idea of the single divers web site and orginization is a very good. I hope to be diving for many years to come. I think this is a good way to meet other divers and have some fun dive trips. I know the company and site is about a year old and still in the beginning (new business) stages. Is there anything I can do as a member to help?

Bill
some of us here go to differant sites like those that offer scuba gear, travel places,
or message boards on scuba and related subjects. there you can use the contact us button and put a link to our site in with alittle note saying something about what we do. WW can exsplain a little more in detail of what you can do to help the site.

Bill anything you can do to help this site is deeply appreciated :cool1:

Hey Bill, you are already doing a great job. You've signed up for two trips and you are making people feel welcome. Maybe volunteer to do Happy Hours in OK or volunteer to do the Dive Chronicles person of the month.

Mikey does this REALLY well. He is always surfing the internet for diving sites. I'll get emails from him sending me links to list SD in this dive directory or that one and they are all free which is really cool! Or he'll ask them to list us and they will contact me for more details.

Heck sometimes he joins the site and sees a chance to post some friendly information about a great organization for single and buddyless divers and tells them about SD.com!

You can also help keep an eye out for sites where we can list ourselves for free; or where you can join and add our tagline "Single? Buddyless? Need a Buddy? We got Plenty? www.SingleDivers.com" to your signature line.

Great ideas B2B!!! Thanks for keeping an eye out for great ways to spread the SD message! And thanks Bill for offering to help out!

Anyone else got ideas for how Bill or other members can help us spread the word about SD? Or is anyone else interested in helping out?

Heck one member who is an avid internet dating site member sends friendly greetings to people he meets online and uses the SD tagline in their signature. They say that LOTS of people reply back asking about SD.com which is great cuz it opens up the dialog about diving and things that they both love. And until I found out who was doing it I saw a number of referrals from various dating sites so I'm not sure if they used several or if several people did the same thing! :wakawaka:
