Ya know I had promised Wreck Goddess that I would come down for one for these but it seems she fell off the face of the earth, got herself a new man I assume. I hope at least he dives. Anyway, I will be in St Maarten for the Saba/St Kitts trip and will have to miss this one again. Some day... Some day....

Yes he does...they met on SD...but they are breaking the cardinal rule of meeting people here...you can meet them and if you happen to hook up you HAVE to stay active on SD and part of the gang!

Otherwise we hunt you down and well do things to you that you wish you'd stayed active on the board in the first place!! :welcome:

p.s. I have family in the DC/MD/VA area so I WILL make one of these HH's this year in 2005! But this one I'll be with Dan diving Saba so it will have to be another one later in the year! -ww

hey seawitch,

I'll definitely make it, if I'm in town that weekend. Not sure yet, but I'll keep you posted.

Anybody in NOVAMDDC planning to go to SC for BlueDolphin's invite on April 23-24? I'd really like to make that one too, but my dive budget is tapped out momentarily from a week of great diving I did last month out of Tavernier Key. Hopefully, I'll be able to scrape up a few dollars somewhere. That's some great diving -- as long as the seas aren't running 8-10', but it's still great diving anyway.

And WW, yeah, I still owe the board a trip report from my Keys trip. It was definitely a keeper. I'm only about a month overdue on delivery, but I'll post later in the week.

I'm looking forward to your report. When you write it, keep in mind, Tavernier Key is the uninhabited island to your left as you head out to sea from Tavernier Creek. Tavernier is a small town located on the southwest end of the large island known as Key Largo. Most of the Tavernier charter operations are actually based on Plantation Key which is separated from Key Largo by Tavernier Creek (which isn't really a creek at all). The Keys are confusing.
No single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood.

Hi D.,

So glad you are joining us!!

Looking forward to the report for your Keys trip and all that great diving!!

Myrtle Beach is a great diving spot but I am still having flash backs of the 8-10' swells. I can't wait to do it again :cool1:

Jandiver,

Sorry you can't make it this time. I am just a couple of miles from Baltimore and I know is a bit of a drive. We will try to rotate the HH locations to make it easier on our MD and VA members. We don't want you guys missing all the fun.

See ya' next time...

Drew was not the only turning different shades of green ;) . But the diving made it all worthy. On of my buddies found a porthole and a musket during that trip. Not bad!! :diver:
