My first classes were at the age of 13 but I never completed certification. Now many life changes later, I decided to take the plunge and complete what started so long ago. I always wanted to be an oceanographer when I was a child but now I just want to follow the passion I think was always there - the love and awe of the sea.
I got my Open water Cert in July 2003. Then did my advanced Open water in Cozumel last August, with International Scuba, which was simply fantastic!
The waters there ooze an azure that beckons my soul to a peace and serenity eternal! I just love the feeling of falling, floating over the abyss (seemingly) of Santa Rosa wall and Columbia ...
So much so that I returned for Thanksgiving ... now that was fun... not as crowded or as warm but still simply amazing.
I'm planning on Cayman Brac in July with the same group - International Scuba.
Has anyone done Maldives?

Welcome to the fun bunch...

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Ok got to know the origin of the name!!! Thank you sooooooooo much for checking out and I know the gang at Int'l Scuba well!!! So who do I owe the thank you for the referral?
So if you travel as much as you do you must work for one of the big telecommunications giants in the Metroplex....however we are thrilled you've found us to hang out with.
Please join us May 23rd weekend for our first "regional" SD.com dive at Athens. Gosh we are up to 40 people and still growing! Of course if you need to take some REAL time off and get the gills wet....you can do Bonaire with us in June!!!
Or if you like a little adventure...try some NC Wreckdiving with us! Oh...did I mention the sharks??? Makes the ones at work look tame! LOL! Just kidding...actually the ones at work make you an EXPERT sharkdiver compared to the ones we dive with!
Since we are new...please don't hesitate to ask for stuff or make suggestions on how we can get better!! Afterall...we want to be THE site on the web for single divers!!!

P.S. Don't forget to tell others about us as well! Do you have diveclub where you work? Some of the local companies do!
