SingleDivers.com is going to need a travel agent to work for us part time at first leading to a full time position very soon.

If you currently are or have been a travel agent, and are interested in this opportunity please let us know. We will also consider training the right person.

Prefer someone based in Dallas but that is not necessary for the right person.

I would also be willing to learn.. sounds like it would be fun esp since I was already looking at the idea of getting a part time job for evenings and weekends.

Well, I'm no where near Dallas, and I've never been a travel agent, but I have traveled a lot . Also looking for something new...part time for now, but I will be retiring in 44 months and 6 days and I'll need a full time job.

What training would be involved? And would the work have to be during business hours? Also, would the person have to come into an office or would working at home be an option?

First off I am really thrilled at the response so far! This is great! The more help we have the more potential we have for growth! The individual end of our travel services will be huge when its all said and done! Our group trips will be our signature offering but our individual travel has the potential to dwarf all of that...especially with all the travel partners and vendors setting us up to resell trave for them!

What training would be involved?

You'll need to learn how to use the reservation systems we use as well as how to book travel with our partners. I am working on how to put together a training program. It might be that I initially accept an offer from one of the Texas folks (if not a travel agent) to see what I need to do to fully develop the program. Then it will be available for others as they want to come on board and we need the extra help. If you already were a travel agent then of course being local is not an issue.

And would the work have to be during business hours?

Some of it may require working during business hours however the bulk of it should be able to be done during the evenings and weekends. If the information is in our reservation system it is available 24x7. If we need to contact the resorts directly, timing issues come into play but its all easy enough to work around.

Also, would the person have to come into an office or would working at home be an option?

For training we'd need to work together, however since the position will be 100% commission to start, you'll easily be able to work from home.
