What can happen? Well lets say you post an intro and just say "hello".
5-10 people will come and say hello to you and ask you to tell us more about yourself!
Let's say you say "hello" and you tell us a little about you?
5-10+ people will say hello to you and probably want to go diving with you...or invite you to a local Happy Hour or otherwise make you feel at home!
Why??
Because at some point in time we ALL were new and had to decide if we were going to post that first post about ourselves. We also were nervous about jumping in and seeming presumptious or too forward.
What happened? None of our fears materialized. No one thought we were ackward or strange and we got a number of greetings from members...even more when we were active in our own threads and pretty soon we were saying hi to other people even newer than ourselves! Or wishing someone a Happy Birthday! How hard is that? And eventually we got up the nerve to ask a question or reply to one. Next thing you know...we were now one of the family!
So jump right in...it only takes one post and its not that hard!
To post an intro:
Click on "New Topic" and then start typing.
Then click on ADD REPLY at the bottom.
To reply to an intro:
Click on "Add Reply" and start typing!!!
Then click on ADD REPLY at the bottom.
