Thanks to all who attended the Happy Hour! Lots of nice compliments from the new folks in the crowd, and think that everyone had a good time!

On a special note: we were graced by the presence of three out of towners - Fingrabber, Blublood (not bluballs), and Neptuner. Neptuner did a great job of pulling out all of the stops on the one-liner pick-up lines that he knows (ie "you have the straightest teeth I've ever seen" is but one of the funniest I've heard in a while). Along with these three and a special anonymous SD lady, I realized that you can actually drink too much wine (thanks!). More importantly, I realized by the end of the evening that I was definitely... the 5th wheel.... :wavey: so I made a quick escape. It just wouldn't have been the same without them! Come back anytime!

Mark your calendars now for Saturday, June 4th - the next Happy Hour - and this one is gonna be EXTRA SPECIAL. Watch for details on SD!

Thank you Katie, for another great Happy Hour.

Neptuner did a great job of pulling out all of the stops on the one-liner pick-up lines that he knows (ie "you have the straightest teeth I've ever seen" is but one of the funniest I've heard in a while).

He did have a few tricks up his sleeve didn't he? I especially liked the wine recycling, er I think he called it "sharing". Guys you need to get pointers from him on this one, she will be putty in your hands.:wavey:

It just wouldn't have been the same without them! Come back anytime!

Absolutely. Come back when you can stay longer and we'll show you some real Texas hospitality.

Yes, it was a great time by all! I will give major props to Neptuner, he knew how to really charm the ladies. I can only imagine what will happen in Roatan this week, what with him and Blublood on the loose down there ... :taz:

First and foremost I would like to give a very special thanks to all of you folks down in Houston for welcoming us with open arms... Texas hospitality truly is inspiring and I look forward to seeing you all again.

I will say, however, that I find it hard to believe that the adoration of women in Texas has weakened so greatly that a few kind words from a simple stranger can be genuinely mistaken for pick-up lines. My dear ladies, I am merely a spectator in life who speaks the truth as it confronts me. If I were to stop and comment upon the rainbow of color within the magical tapestry of a Monet painting... or poetically ponder a single glistening dewdrop as it cascades softly down the satin petal of a crimson rose, would you think me charming? Of course not, these are but a few of the many splendid beauties that we all partake of daily in this world and I am only proclaiming what is already known. I can assure you that every woman, from the greatest to the least, is no less of a miracle... I pray only that each treasure is discovered.

Mitch, you are awesome bud, any time you want to roll, I'm in!

I'll let my brother Blublood fill in the gaps on the Roatan trip... I'm too tired. I definitely remember diving though, 'cuz we got to go BUG huntin'! :welcome:

How does he do that? I'm still trying to recover from his last post, I don't think I could handle it if you added music. I've sort of melted in my chair here. Excuse me while I go have a cigarette, and I don't even smoke. Good Night.
