Marvel
I know you worry about us so I wanted to let you know everything is fine. After everyone hit the water this morning, you can feel the tension went out and everybody is so much more relaxed now.
I went to the grocery store and got drinks and juices for happy hour tonight. I also bought fruits and watermelon for snacks. I brought nuts and munchies on the plane with me so we are set. We got a cooler for the week when we are out on the beaches diving.
Yes, we can take care of ourselves. We got maps and dives descriptions so we could pick and choose the sites.
As of right now, we split up with the more adventurous divers hitting the harder sites without the newbies to slow them down and others doing more relaxing dives. Sandy went with the guys (Jeff and Rick) so she is in good hands. Norm and Teresa may head out this afternoon after she got her hair braided (yes, I hooked her up with a local who does hair) Keith is going through his stack of books for the nitrox and advance class. As for me, I'm going to take a nap to catch up on sleep
Still having fun,
Que

Yeah guys that would be a great plan, but I here one of Mandrake's monkey clan made of with the only known web-cam in Bonaire, just this past weekend... taz.gif
Darn those monkeys!!! But you can't blame them--they're wild animals, you know. But I heard they've been riding the iguanas and that's going a little too far.

GREAT idea! For those who don't already know, Bonaire has it's own site called Boniare Talk, which has a message board filled with all kinds of interesting insider info & trip reports. They also have webcams set up in various spots on the island, including underwater. Visitors will often set up a time with their friends & go to one of the webcams & wave to the folks back home- both over & under the water. Signs are often used & it's pretty cool to watch. Here's a link to the BeachBarCam, which is located at Bongo's Beach Bar & Restaurant at Eden Beach Resort. I gave Que the link to this thread- maybe we can coordinate a viewing!
