For posting pictures, avatars and other things, the board is set up only for Premier Members to do so at this time. You will need to get with Walter or WreckWench to upgrade your membership to receive full privledges. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi WG! We have just officially launched the site this week...so as you can imagine we are a bit behind on a few things! One of them is posting our membership levels and how you obtain them. I am sorry that I haven't gotten this information up yet. I hope to have it up officially tomorrow. In the meantime.....we have 3 levels of members...

1. Standard Membership is our free membership option. Standard members can post, pm, set up and read profiles, and have a 50 msg mailbox. Standard members can join us on all our singles trips and we hope that they will. Our trips are expected to be priced very economically due to group buying power and some hard negotiating with vendors to get good rates. We can't guarantee that every trip will be the best price you'll find to that destination...but we just did 7 nites and 5 days diving with breakfast daily for $509 plus air in Cozy and 4nights and 3 days diving with breakfast for $309 plus air. (Almost everyone on the January trip said it was the best deal they'd ever found to Cozumel AND they had more fun too boot!)

2. Premier Membership is our $25/year membership option. Premier members can upload pictures, pm multiple people, upload an avatar, have 500 msg mailbox and will recieve advance notice of singles trips which often times are limited in spots available. They will recieve discounts offered by our corporate sponsors...many of whom will provide free gear for our trips which Premier Members will have the chance to win and every Premier member will recieve TWICE their membership fee back EVERY time they attend a singles trip in special pricing discounts available at this level. There are other benefits too numerous to mention but they will be spelled out in our forthcoming FAQ's SingleDivers.com as well as in the announcements section.

3. Charter Membership is our $250/year Leadership option. Charter members have all the priveledges as our Premier members but they will also provide a leadership role in helping to decide on Singles Trips destinations, resorts, dates as well as the future direction of the board and the site. They will have the full priviledges of the site both those that currently available and those that will be avialable soon. Again the benefits for this level will be spelled out hopefully tomorrow!

As a new venture we are fortunate to have great talent helping us however we do have some of those pesky bills to pay to launch the site, keep it up and going and to finish developing some of the great new features that we will have soon including a sophisticated buddy finder system that lets you search for buddies based on where they want to dive and not where they live. We will have the first ever dive trip search engine that lets you search for dive trips based upon where they are held and not the home location of the diveshop running them. We will have a really cool online divelog and equipment gear bag to store your gear information online in one handy place in the event of theft or loss. These are only a few of the upcoming features we'll have available to our premium members for a very inexpensive $25 annual fee. We have purposely kept the fee low and ensured that you'll get twice your money back the first trip you take with us.

We hope you'll upgrade to the premier member status as many of our divers have but we guarantee that you'll still love your standard membership with us and we hope to see you on a trip with us soon!
