Wench, that's great to know that you're going to be at SeaSpace. We'll definitely stop by and say hello. And you're more than welcome to come post on our board. The more the merrier!

I'm also very interested in the Athens trip. I'm currently helping DM new classes, and need to check on my availability for that weekend, but if there is any way at all I can be there, count me in! Looking forward to having some of those wild and crzy times I'm reading so much about with all of you! :welcome:

Donatello,

I said a hello on your board and also introduced myself.

Dejah, I'm very interested in diving Athens. It will be my first time there. I have read the thread, and if I'm not needed with a class will definitely be there. BTW, I have a ton of experience with Terrell, and can recommend it highly. It's a deeper lake than Athens, and also has several underwater attractions, including a fuselage of an airplane that they sunk back in November. It should definitely be considered for an upcoming event sometime.

I'll know more after this weekend about whether I can make it, and I'll PM you as soon as I do.

Sweet! I'm really thinking I'll be there. The peer pressure is making it hard to say no, anyway :P I'll do my best to make arrangements and be there!

i know that, W3! i just meant that i was going to opt out and not take advantage of the trip to be frugal until i was bombarded online and by pm'd until i realized it would be very unwise of me not to practice my dive skills in beginner's paradise. i'm not upset that i was slightly shoved in the right direction...it might be the only diving i might be able to sneak in for the year and i'd much rather it be this than the lakes in texas again. :teeth:
