I'd love to, but honestly I'm more interested in the north east.

What are you talking about? That sounds like bath water to me :) .

Everything is relative. That's similar (slightly warmer) than diving the Gulf in the winter. I love the Gulf this time of year, temps are in the upper 80's and rising.

I hear ya! Everyone has their own likes & dislikes. One shouldn't be forced to do something they don't want to. Looks like I'll miss your wit and wisdom though... for a while...

Oh, I've been known to dive cold (Siberia & the Great Lakes), but if I go to Australia, I wanna see the reef.

:cool2:Wes,

That water is definitely toooo cold on the West Coast. But here is a perfect trip for December 2006 (If the SD Gods are listening) that you could come and join us.

Start off doing a 6 day liveaboard doing the Eastern Fields, then head to Townsville for a couple of days and do the Youngla (sp) wreck….then finish off the trip at Heron Island!

Walter you should love the trip warm water, PNG and Australia!

Whatta guys think?
You must endeavor to pursue!
