I hate to be the one to say it, but I'm wondering if that video has been retouched. That camo almost seems a little *too* good to be natural.

Not saying it's fake, or that anyone has to defend it, just saying that's *incredible* camoflage to be natural.

It's real. You can see it and others on a video:

Have any PNW divers been to Redondo lately and checked on the female guarding her eggs under the carousel boat? She is really gray and not moving much.
I think her time is about over. She is a big girl but is not looking good. She has hollowed out both sides of the boat for maximum water flow for her eggs another sign that she might be getting too tired to keep caring for her eggs.

Frank, isn't this the one you're thinking of? It's the only one I remember having....

http://www.pbs.org/w...e/shark_hi.html

It's pretty amazing... and to think we dive with (and if we're lucky, hold hands with!) these cool critters all the time!

ahh... can't tell, it's requiring Real Player and I got Sick n' Tired of Real Player's antics a while ago so don't download it..

But it was the one when Seattle Aquarium put a shark, as it truned out several sharks, in the tank with the GPO.. and they kept dissappearing...

Finally videoed it through the nights and discovered what was happening..
Amazing to say the least...

I keep saying, the Octos might seem "Cute and Cuddley" but just like there are "Nice People and there are Mean People" Octos aren't any different...

Anyway, if that's the one, then that has been thebest one I've seen so far...

See ya in the water...

ps. Is was due to your attention to "Olive" that I put her on the Snap Logo...
