I am thinking we need to do a Vancouver dive.
Wait for Caetllonn to get her OW cert..

Ladies, we still haven't gotten together. I am sure we can get Nicolle to join us.

Maybe we should plan something for mid October??? I have to come up and dive Canadian water.

Let me know what everyone is thinking.. We need to do more PNW SD get togethers. OR, WA and Canada we are not that far apart and so many great dive sites between WA and Canada.

Mr Evans do you think you could make the time to come along??

Caetllonn - I would love to meet you for coffee one day during lunch. We can work out the details over PMs.

Colleen - I agree! We definitely need to do another PNW dive. October is looking good for me! And, of course, if it were to be in the Vancouver area who would I be to complain? Of course, I am actually willing to trek down south now that I finally have my gear. Chez Michelle is a typical Vancouver dwelling (read condo) but I do have a spare room, couch and floor space for anyone interested. I even have a second bathroom. Let me know your thoughts!

I've been itching to head up into the BC area to try a dive or two- I certainly don't mean to impose myself, but I would certainly be happy to make the trek up too!

No imposition at all David! These types of events are meant to include all of our PNW members!

name the dates - as long as it doesn't conflict with going to DEMA, I'm up for it. Besides, we PNW divers know October can be ab fab for diving!!!

My schedule is dependent on school activities (I'm both teaching and and taking classes this fall). Depending on the week/weekend, I would certainly love to come along. I heart diving BC. :cheerleader:

The last few dives I've been on I've actually been looking forward to winter- not cooking so much while suiting up (I'm still diving wet), great visibility.... Granted, the beautiful sunshiney days that we have had lately have been great, and I wouldn't give them up, but there is something to be said for fall and winter diving up here too!

Nekton, I know what you mean.. I dove Sat and Sun this past weekend.. and had to get in the water as quickly as possible... Love the drysuit.. but when it is 80 outside.. the suit heats up quick...
You are welcome to join us on any dives. Will keep you posted..

I was out diving on Alki on Sunday too- that's what has put it into my mind! Had a couple great dives, but the time on the surface was a little warm! It was fun being amongst everyone out enjoying the hot day, though... maybe next time I'll just have to bring some ice water to toss down my wetsuit like I do warm water in the winter! (brrr!)
