So... I'm on my way back from a deep cave dive and very glad that I have an 80cuft stage from which to complete 30 to 40 minutes of decompression. I turn the tank valve on to check the pressure (since the SPG needle may have dropped or I may have lost gas during the dive after leaving the stage behind) while breathing my back gas only to have bubbles erupt from the second stage in a powerful volcanic stream. Hmmm... good thing I have a spare second stage. Switch the 2nd stages & RUSH... okay... obviously this is a first stage problem. Next thought... unreal, I just had this to a dive center that could no longer service Mares regs... this is one for Senior Tech. Can you service a crapped out Mares VR-16? I'm guessing it's an IP problem.
